We are concerned about the national increase in domestic burglary and criminal activity committed on residential doorsteps especially when the elderly or the more vulnerable are targeted.

Distraction burglary, bogus callers or push past crimes as they are commonly known, but the more extreme case are known as aggravated burglaries or home invasions. This is where homeowner answers a call at the front/rear door and the caller uses extreme violence to gain un-lawful entry. Or they may even force entry at a locked door!

At StranDNA we studied this increasing problem and over a two year period perfected the ultimate intruder deterrent with development aided by ERA Security Products. We knew that the certainty of being sprayed with traceable forensic DNA would be seen by today’s villains as the ultimate no-no.

Installed unobtrusively to the inside of the door, Chain Reaction DNA™ provides extra resistance to forced entry and a very high decibel, thief-disorienting screech alarm is triggered automatically should the door be forced open and also in doing so the intruder will also be sprayed with a unique DNA trace. This will allow the police to connect the perpetrator directly to the crime scene once activated and can be used as forensic evidence in a court of law.

We believe that this unique access control device will alleviate the fear associated with these types of criminal offence.
